I just fell victim to SYWO (see one of my earlier postings, JAB)

We just returned from a quick, 1350 mile, round trip to attend our nephew's graduation open house.  If you have never been to Northern Wisconsin in an early June that has seen plenty of rain, then you really have never experienced mosquitoes.  I felt like a Big Billy Buffet.

If you combine the last name of the likely democratic presidential candidate with the last name of the likely republican presidential candidate, it sounds like an Irish bartender or a Mickey Rooney movie character.

While touring Europe, G Dub said he had no regrets over the Iraq war.  222 days, 15 hours, 1 minute, 14 seconds left...

On Tuesday, Leonard Hudson of Chicago robbed a store at knife point, fled the building with employees in hot pursuit,ran across the Dan Ryan Expressway, scaled a wall, landed on the railroad tracks and was promptly struck and killed by a CTA commuter train.  Who says justice can't be swift?

As bad as the mosquitoes were in Wisconsin, they were not the biggest pest we encountered...
